William P. Rich, CFA
Founder & President
Bill Rich is the President of NorthStar Capital. He has decades of experience managing the accounts of major corporations, leading institutions, and wealthy individuals. Bill founded NorthStar in 1995 to bring to individual investors the kind of investment services generally offered exclusively to large institutions. Bill conducts investment research and manages investment portfolios for clients. During his career at State Street Research & Management Company, Bill served as President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Investment Officer, Director of Research, and Investment Analyst. He has often been called upon for his industry expertise, having participated in numerous Industry Roundtable Discussions conducted by The Wall Street Transcript in addition to being listed in the "Best of the Buy Side" by Institutional Investor magazine. Bill is a graduate of Dartmouth College and earned his MBA from the Harvard Business School. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Stephanie L. Haley
Head of Compliance
Stephanie L. Haley is the Compliance and Operations Manager at NorthStar Capital. Her responsibilities include executing on compliance methods and requests from senior officers, facilitating daily communications, and serves as the liaison between our clients and associated brokerage firms. Stephanie handles all of our account maintenance, including responsibilities such as transferring assets, tracking account activity, and compiling status reports on each account. Stephanie is a graduate of Saint Anselm College and joined NorthStar right out of college.

Jonathan M. Hahn
Portfolio Manager, US & International Markets
Jonathan Hahn serves as Portfolio Manager for U.S. and International Markets at NorthStar Capital. In this role, he oversees the firm's tactical investment opportunities, develops quantitative forecasting models across global markets, and cultivates strategic partnerships that support new investment initiatives and long-term value creation. Jonathan's leadership foundation was forged through the Army ROTC program, where he served as Cadet Battalion Commander for the North Carolina A&T State University Battalion. He joined NorthStar Capital as an intern during his junior year at High Point University and later accepted a full-time position with the firm. Recognized for his investment expertise and market insights, Jonathan was quoted and featured by CNBC in its 2026 edition of Private Market Insights, where he provided commentary on private equity trends and the broader investment landscape. Jonathan graduated from High Point University with concentrations in Business Administration, Finance, and Military Studies. He is also an advanced graduate of Army logistics operations through Army Sustainment University. In addition, he holds the Series 65 license administered by NASAA and earned an Advanced Programming Certification from Olin College. His expertise spans quantitative analysis, portfolio management, securities law, and regulatory compliance, and he is frequently sought for his insights on investment strategy and market developments.

Sylvia Rich
Director of Investor Relations
Sylvia brings a strong background in global communications, client relations, and diplomacy to her role as Director of Investor Relations at NorthStar Capital. She is responsible for communicating the firm’s investment strategies, managing client engagement, and expanding NorthStar’s professional network. Sylvia’s career began at leading global agencies, including Hill & Knowlton and Grey Communications. Her work included supporting British American Tobacco during its Formula 1 sponsorship and collaborating with MotoGP’s Team Lucky Strike, giving her extensive exposure to high-level brand strategy and international coordination across London and Budapest. She later expanded her experience into the healthcare sector as a resident coordinator for Epoch Senior Living, where she supported community operations, resident engagement, and facility events. In addition to her role at NorthStar, Sylvia serves as the Honorary Hungarian Consul, reflecting her commitment to cultural diplomacy. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Media from LaSalle University. Her diverse experience across global communications, healthcare, and diplomatic service allows her to bring a unique and effective perspective to NorthStar Capital’s investor relations efforts.
